World Book Night

Help Kingston Library and Heritage Service celebrate World Book Night on Saturday March 5th.

Kingston Library is taking part in this national initiative promoting the pleasures of books and reading by opening between 6.30pm and 9pm that evening. There will be music from The Tiffinians –Close Harmony Group, live poetry performances courtesy of Rhythm and Muse, the chance to pick up a free book as part of the World Book Night Great Book Giveaway, and obviously lots of opportunities to choose and borrow from our wide range of adult fiction and non-fiction books, as well as Large Print and Spoken Word.

If you are not already a member of Kingston Libraries it is a great chance to come along and join up – just bring a proof of name and address with you such as a current utility bill or driving licence. Why not sign up to our e-books and e-spoken word service at the same time?

For more information  about World Book Night please contact Kingston Library on 020 8547 5006 or Alison Townsend on 020 8547 6494.
