Hook Craft Fair

Throughout the day, visitors will be able to enjoy an array of stalls selling everything from jewellery to handmade cards, healing crystals, personalised art, books and much more.

Did you know?

... that as well as e-books, you can also access e-audiobooks as part of Kingston Libraries on-line library? We are happy to announce that in partnership with WF Howes Library suppliers, our users now have access to over 600 e-audiobooks. This is in addition to the 450 titles already offered in our e-book collection. Both services are easy to access and completely free.

Just go in to any Kingston Library, log on to a library computer using your library card, visit the Kingston Libraries website, click on the On-line Reference room tag to take you to the e-books and e-audiobooks link, set up your Net Library account, and that’s it! You can then view or download titles using your own PC in the comfort of your own home.

World Book Night


Help Kingston Library and Heritage Service celebrate World Book Night on Saturday March 5th.

Kingston Library is taking part in this national initiative promoting the pleasures of books and reading by opening between 6.30pm and 9pm that evening. There will be music from The Tiffinians –Close Harmony Group, live poetry performances courtesy of Rhythm and Muse, the chance to pick up a free book as part of the World Book Night Great Book Giveaway, and obviously lots of opportunities to choose and borrow from our wide range of adult fiction and non-fiction books, as well as Large Print and Spoken Word.

If you are not already a member of Kingston Libraries it is a great chance to come along and join up – just bring a proof of name and address with you such as a current utility bill or driving licence. Why not sign up to our e-books and e-spoken word service at the same time?

Top 10 Storytime at New Malden Library

Email practice session at Old Malden Library

Old Malden Library is holding an email practice session Thursday 17 February 9.45-10.45am. This short session will cover the basics of writing, editing, sending and receiving emails and give a little boost to your emailing skills. The session costs £1.50. To book your place, please call in at the branch or email alex.webb@rbk.kingston.gov.uk. or call in to the branch in Church Road, Worcestor Park.
Tickets for IT sessions are non-refundable and non-transferable and must be booked in advance.
