More half term activities next week

Hook Library, Hook Road, Chessington
Tuesday 26th October, 10.30 – 11.30am,  Spooky Stories and Craft
For 3-7 year olds.  Tickets £1 in advance from the library.

Saturday 30th October, 10.30am – 12pm, Trick or TreatHorrible Halloween Horror Crafts for ages 6-11 years.  Tickets £1.50 in advance from the library.

Saturday 23 October, 10.30 am – 4.30 pm, Family Nature Show
Go wild at Kingston with a whole range of hands-on activities for all the family. Free workshops. Supported by Family Learning as part of celebrating Family Learning Week

Monday 25 October, 10.00 - 11.00 am - Make a Bird Feeder
Monday 25 October, 11.45- 12.45 -  Bulb Planting
 Both the above events are for children aged 6+ and places are limited to 12-14 people for each event. To reserve a place contact Kingston Children’s Library from 9.30 on Monday 11 October.

Thursday 28 October, 10.15 - 11.00am, Hubble Bubble Toil and TroubleWitches stories and craft for under 5s. Spaces limited, tickets on the day. Free.

Friday 29 October 10.15 - 10.45am, Baby Bounce and Rhyme
 For babies and toddlers. Free.

Saturday 30th October, Bio Open Day at KingstonA day packed full of Biodiversity talks, displays and activities for everyone. Come and get in touch with your inner biologist, ecologist and botanist. Free.

Surbiton Library, Ewell Road, Surbiton
Saturday 23 October, 10.30am - 12 noon, 'Trick or Treat'
Kick off the half term holiday with some autumn crafts, for all ages. Tickets £1.50.

Tuesday 26 October, 10 - 11am, Bulb planting
Tuesday 26 October, 11.45 - 12.45pm, Make your own birdfeeder
Both of the above events are for children 6+ and places are limited. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Free event but please contact the library to reserve a place.

Tolworth Library, The Broadway, Tolworth
Tuesday 26 October, 10 - 5pm, Rockets and Stars
Firework inspired crafts. Pre-book 1 hour sessions (£1.50) 5 - 12 year olds. 

Tudor Drive Library, Tudor Drive, Kingston
Tuesday October 26th, 14:30 - 16:00pm, Norman Knights and Castles
Make a Norman shield and helmet and/or a model motte and Bailey Castle. This is family craft activity recommended for children ages 7 to 12 with an adult to help. Places are £1.50 per child (accompanying adults are free) and can be booked in the library from Saturday 9th October. Library Hall

Thursday October 28th, 2:30 – 3:15pm, Tales of Norman Knights
Stories and legends of knights and castles. Recommended for children aged 4 to 8 years old with an adult. Includes simple craft to do in the library or take to make at home. No need to book in advance. Junior Library
