Kingston Library is running a taster internet course for novices.  The course covers  what is available via the Internet and the basic features of Internet Explorer.  You will learn how to open a website if you know the address, and how to use a search engine to search for information when you do not know where to start.

The course costs just £1.50 and is on Wednesday 15 September, 9.30 - 11.30am. Contact Kingston Library (Fairfield Road, Kingston, Tel 020 8547 6401) to book a place.

Those wanting a more in depth course may want to attend the Beginners Internet course at Hook Library.  The course is over three weeks starting on Thursday 16 September, 10 - 12noon and costs £18.  This course will cover the basics such as typing in a web address, following links, using a search engine and how to shop safely online.  To book a place telephone 02 8547 6480 or call in to the branch in Hook Road, Chessington.
